Being in love can be a good thing. In fact, it can be a great thing. But how do you know if you are in love or if it is just a passing phase? Only you know for sure, but if you find yourself doing most of the things listed below, there is a pretty good chance that you are smitten with her.
Do you find yourself willing to compromise sometimes? If you notice that you are willing to give in to her requests to attend the ballet, or spend the weekend picking apples or going antique shopping, you might just be in love. It seems that people in love are willing to compromise, and they are also willing to try new things with the person they love in order to spend time together and learn more about each other.
Is your ex-ancient history? If you can barely remember what color her hair was or why it was that you broke up or what was so wonderful about her in the first place. If you can’t imagine that life with your ex anymore, then there is a good possibility that you are definitely over your ex.
Do you find your thoughts lingering on your girlfriend? Maybe you find yourself thinking about her often, and thoughts of her cross your mind at odd moments during the day. You think about what the two of you are going to do later, and you are looking forward to your plans.
Do you want to know everything about her? In the past, you may not have really cared what your current girlfriend’s favorite color was, and you certainly couldn’t remember her mother’s name.
If you are interested in every little detail about your girlfriend, and everything you learn about her makes you like her more, you are probably in love. People in love want to find out more about their significant other because it allows them to continue to build a relationship and make it stronger and more long lasting.
Are you not really noticing other women like you used to? Sure, you still do a double take when a totally hot chick walks by, but if you find yourself less interested in flirting with members of the opposite sex, and not interested in meeting new women and collecting phone numbers, you are probably feeling the vibe with your girlfriend. Men who consider themselves taken just do not have as much of an interest in the general population of the opposite sex as they used to.
Do her little quirks and unique personal traits seem really cute and attractive? She does things and says things that are different from any other woman you have ever met and you really like that. You don’t know exactly why you like the funny little things she does, but you do.
How About the Chemistry? Sure, great sex can make any relationship pretty good, but in a relationship that is serious and committed, chemistry that leads to fantastic sex is a really good thing. In fact, sex with someone you love is even better than the best sex you ever had previously because the depth of affection makes it better.
