Making Connections: Take A Class
Yes, a lot of people have thought about taking some kind of class to meet other people. As the bar and club scene inevitably gets old, other ways to meet people start coming to mind. You might think that taking a class is a silly way to meet someone, but it is surprisingly effective.
When you think about taking a class, you need to think about what kind of woman you want to attract. You also need to think about your own interests. It will not do you any good to take a cooking class to meet women if you have absolutely no interest whatsoever in learning how to cook.
So think about these things when you start looking for classes. You might want to take a class on making stained glass art. Or maybe you are the kind of guy that wants to learn how to build your own bookshelves for your apartment. If you are interested in politics, join a political campaign.
The possibilities are endless. The chances of meeting someone interesting while also doing something you enjoy or exploring something you have always wanted to learn mean that the experience can be doubly good. It is better if you do not bring a buddy with you, or your sister or a woman that is a friend of yours. If you are with someone you know you will be less inclined to speak to strangers.
Plus, they will be less inclined to speak to you. So taking a class should be a solo expedition. It is also a good idea to arrive in plenty of time for the first class so that you can scope out the situation. Stand on the sidelines for a few minutes and see what is going on. Decide where you want to sit. Pick a spot near a cute woman, if possible.
While you are there to learn something, and so is she, it is also possible to get in plenty of non-verbal flirting. You can make eye contact, smile or laugh together at one of the instructor's jokes, even if it is less than funny. By doing this, you let her know you are interested, and you start to build some common ground.
This can lead to fun conversations during a break in class or afterwards. It is also a way to break the ice and get more comfortable. Eventually, you are going to have to be brave and ask her out. Hopefully, by this time you have had several conversations with her, flirted with her openly and know that she is interested in you.
Try for something low-key, such as coffee or drinks. You can also invite her to do something that relates to the class you are taking. For instance, if you are taking a class on skiing, ask her to join you the following weekend on the slopes. If the class is on some type of cooking, ask her to go to a taping of a cooking show that your friend can get tickets for. If you ask her to do something that is related to the class, she is more likely to say yes.
